The federation's Krav Maga training camps

Throughout the year, FKMDS organises training camps open to practitioners from every affiliated club. They take place indoors, but also in natural and urban settings and outdoors, so that practitioners face varied environments: uneven ground, confined spaces, low light or everyday clothing.

These gatherings are a chance to train with partners other than those in your usual class — essential in a discipline where an opponent's build and behaviour change everything. Some camps are also held abroad.

Grading sessions and instructor training

Grading sessions mark each practitioner's technical progress and are supervised by the federation's heads of pedagogy. They assess technical mastery, the ability to read a situation and behaviour under pressure.

FKMDS also trains future instructors. Affiliated with the French Karate and Associated Disciplines Federation, it now counts 48 teachers, most of whom come from security and defence professions.

Taking part in an event

Most camps are open to members of FKMDS clubs, whatever their level. If you don't train yet, the simplest way in is to contact the club nearest to you: registration is open all year round and private lessons can be arranged on request.
