FKMDS in the media

Since it was founded in 2007, the Krav Maga Defense System Federation has regularly been approached by newspapers, radio and television to talk about self-defense, everyday safety and Krav Maga in France. Our instructors also take part in reports on women's self-defense courses, professional training for security jobs and the federation's grading sessions.

This page brings together the articles, reports and publications that mention FKMDS, its affiliated clubs and its teachers. Each article links to its original source when it is available online.

Why Krav Maga interests the media

Krav Maga is a self-defense method designed for real situations: simple moves, instinctive reactions and training under stress. This pragmatic approach explains the growing interest from the public and journalists, particularly in short formats on preventing assaults and building self-confidence.

FKMDS is affiliated with the French Karate and Associated Disciplines Federation and now brings together 48 instructors, many of them security professionals — soldiers, gendarmes, police officers and firefighters. This unusual make-up is often at the heart of the reports about us.
